3 Ways To Improve Your Life Now

vow to be fierce, create your best self, life improvement, life tips, self love, self reflection, quotes, blogging

The New Year is approaching in less than 2 weeks! I’m excited.  This is the time our lifestyles could use a little sprucing up. Think about the habits you want to leave in 2014. Dream of the great things you will accomplish in 2015. If you haven’t already, figure out your word for 2015.

To get you started, here are 3 ways you can improve your life. If you blend these 3 things into your life now, you will receive more clarity around the things you want.

1. Work on Self awareness: this is so important. Being self aware improves all relationships and enhances communication. What do I mean by self awareness? Get to know your core self, what triggers you, what excites you, etc. When you are clear on who you are and what your needs are, you get more of what you want.

2. Become comfortable with silence.  I’m rarely quiet. But I don’t mind silence. In fact I need it sometimes.  In silence, you reflect. Thats when you get the best ideas or that answer you’ve been searching for. We all lead busy lives so make sure you get a few minutes (preferably more) each day for yourself. Soon I will write another post about what you can do during that silence.

3. Realize that change is a must. If you’re uncomfortable with change, I urge you to shift your perspective. Change is necessary for growth. You want to grow personally/professionally right? I get it. Change can be scary because of the unknown. What’s going to happen? Is this the right decision? Well, change can be fun. Think of it this way, if nothing changes in your life, will you be happy, truly? I’m pretty sure there is at least one thing in your life right now that could be better. That’s a good thing. Nothing is perfect and life is about trial and error. Trying different things to see what fits right in your life should be fun, not stressful.

With all of the crazy going on around the world right now, we need to work on ourselves so we can help bring more peace and clarity by uniting with others to find productive solutions. Thanks for reading =)
