Meditation Mondays

Helllllo, my love. I skipped a week or two and I really missed bringing Meditation Mondays to you. I’ve been on my own journey of meditation mornings. I don’t know about you but life has been feeling like a lottttt and I decided to start a new morning routine to support my desire to slooooow down, which isn’t the easiest thing for me. Anywho, I embarked on a morning ritual where the very first thing I listen to is a meditation and some breathing exercises. At first, I was like ooh I got this. This is goood. But things started to crumble when I allowed myself to get distracted by the thoughts of all the things I needed to get done for the day and down the rabbit hole. I will make a future post on what I learned on that 30 day journey.

This morning I woke up feeling hopeful and pulled a card for us. See below for today’s meditation prompt. You can do whatever feels good for you. Read the card and then close your eyes and see what comes up for you then jot some thoughts down on paper. You may get a message or some clarity on something that’s been weighing on you…Let me know if this helps in any way.

It’s okay, I don’t know what I’m doing either. I loooove this. Sometimes we can get really hard on ourselves for feeling like we don’t have it all figured out. Raising my hand over here. If we take a pause and allow ourselves to be in it instead of trying to get out of it, we may find that we know so much more about ourselves than we thought. There is power in owning where you are it. And here is the thing: no one has it all figured out. And that would be boringgg.

This card is an invitation to be open to the unknown blessings and miracles that life may have for you. It’s in unexpected opportunities you would normally say no to. It’s in the moment you stop and give yourself a moment to reflect on what you are feeling instead of trying to come up with a solution to an issue. Yup, raising my hand again.

Meditation doesn’t always have to be to close your eyes and listen to beautiful sounds or a person guiding you on a journey. It can be and I love those but it doesn’t have to be. Meditation is about bringing your focus and energy into the present moment and connecting with yourself. Feeling into what’s coming up within your body and noticing your responses. Recognizing that thoughts will come up to trip you sometimes and remembering that all of your thoughts aren’t 100 percent fact. But leaning into your truth and connecting with that is the goal. It’s why it’s called a meditation practice cause this ish aint easy. But it’s worth it. YOU are worth it.

Before I add the meaning of the card below, I want to share with you an offering I have created to support my community with meditation. My goal is for everyone to try meditating, even once. And to be open to experiencing it differently. This is why a created, MAGICAL MEDITATIONS.
