Hello my love, if you’re reading this, I am sending you mucho love your way. I hope your 2024 is off to a good start. And if not, you can always shift. It’s been a year since I last posted and part of me just wants to come on in and just start creating like no time has passed. And another part of me wants to acknowledge the inconsistency of posting since the creation of this site, 2014. I am a creator at heart and so I want to thank you for showing up to my lil corner on the internet. I appreciate you. And also, I am choosing to show up in this space more because it correlates with showing up for myself and my creativity.
If you’ve been a part of my world for a while, you know this isn’t the only outlet in which I share. While I have been MIA on here, I have been doing lots of other things but I am reclaiming this space because it feels good. And this year, I want more good. More joy. More fun. More purpose. And so I invite you to head to the “Connect with me” page to learn a little bit more of what I have been up to. Let me know how we are connected. Send me a note in the comments. I’d love to connect.
Today’s meditation mantra is simple: Get Cozy.
Grab a coffee (or tea) and cozy up on here with me. So many clients say they don’t like meditation or don’t know how to meditate. We allll know how. It’s within us and believe it or not, we do it everyday. The key is to meditate with intention.

According to Oxford dictionary, to meditate means to think deeply or focus one’s mind for a period of time, in silence or with the aid of chanting, for religious or spiritual purposes or as a method of relaxation; plan mentally; consider.
- We think deeply and focus on a lotttta things some good for our mental and some not.
- We plan for things all the time. We consider, we take our time figuring things out.
Meditation has many benefits and that’s for another post. But today, I want you to remember that you have the power to choose your thoughts, intentionally. When we do that, we’re meditating.
Today’s prompt is really simple. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath…and let it go. For real, try it again. This isn’t a performance. No one is watching you. You can’t get it wrong. Breathe in calm, connection, love, support. Exhale any frustrations, any tension in your body. Release it.
I invite you to think of cozy thoughts. What makes you feel warm? What feels comforting to you? What are you wearing? Who are you with if anyone, and where? Focus on how you feel. And come back to this space anytime you need to feel held.
XOXO, Kay
