Love Letter to Self

For those days you wish you lived under a rock… When you want to give up everything you’ve been working towards because you don’t think it’s worth it. You don’t think you’re worth it.

REMEMBER…

You are plenty. You give all that you can. You dream and you create. You nurture. Stop being afraid of what could be. Know what is. Be in the moment. You are here now. That is all that matters. I wrote this in March. It was sitting in my drafts folder for a while. I finally have the motivation to start posting again. I don’t know what happened. I get caught up in perfection. I spend so much time planning, coming up with ideas for what I want to do but I do not execute.

Why? Cause of fear. There’s that ugly word. I am learning to embrace fear instead of running away from it. Sometimes the only thing stopping you from becoming successful is yourself. Get out of your own way. I’m not saying it’s easy but taking small steps really helps. At first, that was a fuzzy concept for me to grasp because I feel accomplished when I make big steps like starting or finishing a project. It’s the small steps in between that require perseverance to continue.

I am working on my small steps.

I share this with you because I want you to celebrate yourself. No one is perfect. We all have different strengths and that’s a good thing. Comparing ourselves with others doesn’t motivate us, it hinders us.

Love tips: -Celebrate one of your strengths this week. -Work on your small steps. -Compliment someone who is different from yourself. You may have more in common than you realize.

Being Fierce is not about being perfect or having the best of everything. It is the attitude you have about yourself. Fierce is making mistakes and pushing through. Giving your best and knowing you deserve the best.

I’m working on a blog post that’s a love letter to myself as well. I’m excited to see us women completing our past and loving on ourselves! Thank you for this!

(1/2) I just want to say,”Bravo!” When I read this I was going through a particularly trying time around self-doubt.i kept wondering if what I was doing and thinking made no sense to anyone but me. You can get lost in self-doubt if you are not careful. But while reading this love note, I felt myself snapping out of it, feeling stronger, stopping the cycle, and giving myself a break. Forgiveness. thank you Kayla C
